Children and young families are most welcome at our new 10am service on the 1st Sunday of each month. This is a short 45 minute service without Communion and has been created to appeal to children and the young at heart! Children are encouraged to participate actively in singing, in readings, presentations and prayers. The service is followed by tea/coffee/squash and biscuits and at 11:15am there is a shortened version of the Eucharist held in the Eastern Chapel for those who want to make their Communion.

Sunday Club typically runs on the 3rd and 4th Sundays in the month. We aim to plan activities for children aged from 3–4 years through to 11 years. For children aged 4 and over we encourage carers to drop their children into the Sunday Club to give themselves the opportunity for their own chance to go into Church for worship. However, carers are welcome to stay on whilst their children settle in. We start at 9.50 a.m. ready for registration at 10.00 a.m. After registration we discuss our topic for the week, and then continue with simple prayers, stories, games and craft activities.
We usually have about 45 minutes in the Sunday Club before rejoining the congregation ready to prepare for Communion. We normally make a quick presentation to the congregation to let everyone share what we’ve been doing, before sitting in the first few rows of pews which are kept free for us so that the children have a clear view.
You can find the dates for Sunday Club in The Children's Diary. We have a number of leaders and helpers but are always keen for others to be involved with ideas and help. If you are interested in knowing more please give us a call or pop along to one of our Sunday Club sessions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
